European by Choice is about people, it is about citizens and individuals. Not about the European Union institutions. It is about us, Europeans, connecting with one another, getting together and doing things together. At European by Choice, we certainly don't oppose the EU project, but we want to create a true European sense of identity, independent of political structures and beliefs. That is why we’ve created a symbol, a flag, that doesn’t represent institutions, but people. The ‘European Civil Flag’. So YES, European by Choice is for ALL Europeans.
No. European by Choice is not affiliated with the EU, nor is it connected to or sponsored by political parties or in fact by any third party except its founders who are private individuals with no political agenda or connections. We are just some geeks with a passion for Europe.
Yes and no. We chose to operate within a commercial framework because it gives us the best tools to grow, make a living and have an impact on society. But we do not directly cash our profits. Instead, we reinvest in the development of a European sense of togetherness. We try to make viral videos, tell stories and host events that promote a sense of European togetherness. Not to compare us with anyone but some awesome brands have a comparable approach: a commercial structure that serves a greater goal and proposes something inspiring that has a positive impact and tries modestly to change the world for the better at its own level.
We try to act responsibly for people and planet. Our margins are below those of the big brands ... for good reasons.
Our 2.0 collection is entirely made in Europe. Our suppliers and partners as well as all the people who work on our products are paid European wages and have a decent social protection. So yes, labour cost is (a lot) higher that in some other faraway countries. But we do not mind. We are proud of it.
All our fabric is organic cotton, sometimes mixed with a little recycled polyester for a longer lifespan.
Finally, we strive to only offer quality products, i.e. products that will last. Products that you will still wear in years. So, we took the time to develop garments that - we hope - will meet your needs.

We will also try to work with European artists who support the European by Choice project. You've placed an order, the money has been debited from your account but you haven't received your order confirmation email. Has the order been successful?!
Not to worry, this usually means that the email you used to place the order may have had a spelling mistake or the email may have gone through to your promotional inbox. Just be sure to double-check all inboxes of your email account.
Send an email or message through to our support team (firstname.lastname@example.org) and they'll be able to locate your order. They'll simply need the full name and delivery address used to place the order.
Once a certain item (or variety such as a certain size) has sold out, we may offer the ability to pre order it. When it is produced (after approximately 4 weeks), it will be shipped to the address you've provided in your order information.
We will ship the content of your entire cart at the same time. This means that ordered items still in stock will only be shipped when the 'pre order items' are ready. If you want to receive the items that are still in stock right away, you'll have to place separate orders. If you are willing to wait until all your designs are ready to be shipped, then you can simply place one order and we'll get all of your items with you as fast as we can. You will receive a shipping confirmation with a track and trace code once it is sent out.
If you are not at home when your parcel is due to be delivered, it may be left in a safe place which will be communicated on a delivery note by the courier. If the delivery fails, the courier will leave a note explaining they attempted delivery with instructions on how to reschedule the delivery.
If your tracking states your package has been delivered, but you have not received it. Please first check with any surrounding neighbors for anyone who may have accepted the parcel on your behalf.
If you had your order delivered to a workplace, please check with all employees who may have accepted the parcel, we know how tempting a fresh EUROPEAN package might be.
Couriers may update the tracking as delivered prior to delivery, so please allow up to 24 hours before assuming the parcel is lost. If after this period, you're still unable to locate your order, contact our support team with your order details and we'll do all we can to help out.
As all orders are shipped from the EU, you may be susceptible to customs fees if you live outside of the European Union. Customs fees will be charged upon the package reaching the destination country.
You as the customer, are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you reside in; payment of these fees is necessary to release your order from customs.
The grand total of your order as displayed on the checkout does not include any additional duties required. The carrier will inform you of any additional duties if required.
'European by choice' has no control over customs and import tax and we can't tell you exactly how much you will be charged as customs and import tax varies widely depending on the country you are situated in.
Depending on the service used to return your item(s), it can take between 7 - 21 days (excluding weekends & public holidays) to be delivered and processed by our returns team, we will notify you by email once this has been processed.
If you do have concerns, get in touch with our support team, they'll be able to answer any queries you may have.
If your return is marked as delivered, sit tight, our returns team will get to it.
* Item must be returned within 14 days from the day you've received your order, transit times are not included within this time.
* We currently do not offer exchanges. If you wish to receive a different size, you'll need to return the item and place a new order via the website.
* Item must be unworn & unwashed (no odours, blemishes, signs of wear etc.). It must also be in the original packaging, including the hang tag. Any items found to be in poor condition will not be refunded.
* Items covered in animal/human hair will not be accepted.
* All items are thoroughly inspected before any action is taken.
* Returns can take up to 7 days to process, so don't be alarmed if you've tracked your return as delivered but haven't heard from us yet.
* For multiple item orders, we will only refund the value of the item(s) returned.
* If multiple item orders are returned in their entirety, we will refund the total value.
* Orders placed separately (unique reference numbers), can be returned within one postal package but make sure to include all return labels of the separate orders.
* We will aim to action refunds within 5 working days. Please note, PayPal transactions can take up to 24 hours and credit/debit cards may take up to 5 workings days to clear into your account.

Retargeting allows us to tailor our marketing to better suit your needs and only display ads that are relevant to you.
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
